Current Legislation

Newfoundland and Labrador currently has two peices of legislation that govern tobacco issues in the Province. The Smoke Free Environment Act 2005, directs where tobacco use is allowed in the Province. A copy of the legislation can be found here.

In addition, the Tobacco Control Act directs how and where tobacco can be sold and distributed in the Province. A copy of the legislation can be found here.
